| dc.description.abstract | While the data companion reports on the current status of gender-relevant Strategic Plan impact and outcome indicators, its main focus is on the output indicators. The indicators in the data companion are categorized across the dual gender-programming approach applied within UNICEF, namely the gender priorities across the life course and the adolescent girls' empowerment priorities. Indicators monitoring life-course results are categorized by the five Goal Areas. The adolescent girls' empowerment priorities include girls' nutrition, pregnancy care, HIV and human papillomavirus prevention; girls' secondary education and skills; child marriage and early unions; and dignified menstrual health and hygiene. The data companion presents graphs illustrating performance against only a small subset of indicators, which are arranged by gender priority arranged by the Goal Areas. | en_US |
