| dc.description.abstract | The Global Femicide Watch Platform is a special project of the United Nations Studies Association (UNSA) Global Network. It provides selected, high quality information - the „must-knows“ - on the issue of femicide: the gender related killings of women and girls. It addresses and better informs policy and decision makers at all levels, actors from the criminal justice system, practitioners, civil society activists, academics, and individuals concerned with this horrible phenomenon. This publication was made possible by the generous financial contribution of the Organisation of the Families of Asia and the Pacific (OFAP) and Karen E. Burke Research Foundation.
